Our cakes are freshly baked and custom decorated for your individual order, prior to being hand delivered, our bakers prefer at least three days notice.
A delivery charge will be added to each order to enable accurate and on time Hand Delivery to your home.
Every effort is made to keep this delivery a surprise, however confirmation calls, to verify the recipient is home are standard in the industry. If we absolutely cannot call, please call us to discuss the options.
Because this is a freshly baked, beautifully decorated cake we can not leave it on the porch. Although we will do everything in our power to keep the surprise, we must have someone at home to accept delivery. We hope you understand, with dogs, cats, and other neighbors we really must insist...

TO ENSURE THE QUALITY OF OUR DELICIOUS CHEESECAKES, PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY ARE SHIPPED VIA FEDEX AIR ONLY. WE WILL NOT SHIP CHEESE CAKES 'GROUND.'
Our Cheese Cakes will be shipped Monday through Wednesday for arrival in 2 days. Orders received on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be shipped the following Monday. (see chart below)
All orders placed before 8 am, Pacific Standard Time will be shipped that business day*. All others will be shipped the next business day.
Saturday and Express Delivery (Next Day) service is also available in some areas - Monday through Thursday, extra charges will apply.

We are committed to bringing you a quality product shipped in a timely manner and handled with care. However, we can take no responsibility for delayed deliveries due to acts of God, heavy holiday shipping schedules, or incomplete/incorrect delivery information. We reserve the right to pass along any additional charges from Federal Express to the ordering customer resulting from incomplete or incorrect delivery information given by the ordering customer.

We ship all orders via Federal Express because of its superior handling of perishable products. Federal Express delivers Monday through Friday (see chart below) and to specific destinations for Saturday delivery upon request (please contact us at 1-800-779-2253 for Saturday delivery). We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. We do not ship internationally. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is only available through FedEx 2nd day service.
Often, shipments to Alaska and Hawaii take 3 business days for 2nd Day Service.

Federal Express will attempt to make a delivery up to three times. On the third attempt a notice will be left for the recipient to pick up the package at the Federal Express depot. If delivery does not happen after these attempts are made, the perishable package will be destroyed. If so instructed Send-A-Cake will re-send the package at the ordering customer's expense.
